Hermann Genève grants you, from the date of purchase, a 2-year guarantee on all watches purchased on Hermann1914.ch or from its distributors.

The Hermann international warranty covers defects of materials and workmanship existing at the time of the watch's purchase. The warranty is only effective if it is attached to all complaints.

During the warranty period and upon presentation of the valid warranty certificate, you are entitled to have any defects repaired free of charge.

This warranty does not cover: 

 

• normal wear and tear and ageing (e. g. ice scratches; discolouration and/or alteration of the colour and/or material of bracelets and non-metallic chains, such as leather, plastic, textile, velcro; peeling of the veneer);

• damage to any part of the watch resulting from improper/abusive use, lack of care, negligence, accidents (water infiltration, water infiltration due to non-closure of the crown, blows, dents, crushing, glass breakage, etc.), improper use of the watch and non-compliance with the operating instructions;

• indirect or consequential damage of any kind resulting from the use, non-functioning, defects or lack of precision of the watch;

• the watch handled by an unauthorized person (e.g. for battery replacement, service or repair) or whose original condition has been altered beyond control.
